KATHUA, July 19: The activists of Youth Congress staged a protest demonstration here today against the Government’s failure to stop anti-national elements from waving IS and Pakistan flags in various parts of the State particularly in Kashmir.
About 40-50 activists of Youth Congress participated in the protest and accused the State Government of taking lightly such incidents which may prove harmful for the society and disturb peaceful atmosphere.
They said that waving of Pakistan and IS flags in Valley has become a routine matter while the PDP-BJP Government has failed to stop such incidents and take action against such mischievous elements.
They demanded that all those who were found indulging in such crimes be booked under stringent laws and punished appropriately. They warned the Government of launching a strong agitation if any such incident happens again and the Government does not take action again the culprits.
