JAMMU, Nov 8: An 18-year old youth today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Kathua district.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Pawan Kumar son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Ram Colony in Kathua district tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, the family members shifted him to sub district hospital Kathua from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for further treatment.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
