JAMMU, Feb 17: A young man made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Charkan Di Kotli in Bishnah area.
According to a police spokesperson the youth identified as Sahil Kumar (18) son of Sat Paul allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence late last night following which the family members shifted him to Government Hospital Bishnah where he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
