UDHAMPUR, Nov 7: A youth allegedly consumed poison and died during treatment here today.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Rinku (26), son of Indru, a resident of Madha allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, the family members shifted him to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chenani and was later referred to District Hospital Udhampur, where he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the youth was handed over to family members for last rites.
Chenani police has taken cognizance in this regard.
