RAJOURI, July 2: A youth hailing from Thanamandi area of district Rajouri died after he consumed some poisonous substance today.
A police spokesman said that 30-year-old Mohd Ashraf, son of Abdul Hussain, became serious after he consumed some poisonous stuff at his residence in Thanamandi area this afternoon. He was rushed to CHC Thanamandi where Medical staff provided preliminary treatment and then referred him to GMC, Rajouri. However, he died there at around 5.30 pm.
The police registered a case and handed over the body to the parents after postmortem and performing other legal formalities.
