POONCH, Oct 19: A 22-year-old youth was seriously injured in a bike accident in Uchhad area of Mankote last evening.
A police spokesman said that the victim identified as Nazakat Hussain, son of Abdul Hamid , resident of Chhajla was moving towards his home when his bike went out of control and rolled down the road side. While his associate ( pillion rider) jumped away and escaped, he fell down into the gorge and was removed by the locals to Mendhar hospital. He was later shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu with serious injuries. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
