JAMMU, May 19: A youth was crushed to death when DMU train ran over him this afternoon on Jammu-Pathankot Railway track in Rajbagh area.
After getting the information of the incident, Railway Police from Rajbagh Station rushed to the spot and shifted the body to GMC Kathua for postmortem and legal proceedings. The identification of body was not yet ascertained and local people were asked to identify the body. The body was kept in mortuary for identification.
As per police the deceased is wearing a T Shirt of green colour and white strip and grey pant. It is not known whether the person has committed suicide or was accidently hit by train, police added.
