JAMMU, Apr 27: A 24-year-old youth today cut his wrist in Bathindi area of city outskirts.
“Frustrated over some issue, one Attar Ali son of Gosh Mohd, a resident of Bathindi this evening made an abortive attempt on his life by cutting his right wrist”, said a police spokesman, adding that family members timely noticed the act and took him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after providing first aid he was discharged.
He said that the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
