POONCH, Nov 12: A youth was killed when his bike collided with a private passenger bus in Bainch area of district Poonch today.
Reports said the mishap took place when the bike of 16-year-old, Shahid Ahmed, son of Mohd Younis, collided with a video coach near Bainch village. He was rushed to Raja Sukhdev Singh, District Hospital Poonch by his friends and relatives but he succumbed to injuries during treatment in hospital.
A Traffic Police officials deployed in the sector confirmed the incident and revealed that accident took place in Bhainch area and seriously injured youth was died during treatment in hospital.
Medical staff at District Hospital Poonch said that an accident patient was brought to hospital at 9 am with multiple fractures and injuries. “Despite giving medical treatment he was not responding and died after some time, one of the staff members said.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
