POONCH, Nov 14: A youth was killed while two others were injured in collision of an Alto car and motorcycle in Lassana area of Poonch today.
Official sources said that Alto car bearing registration number JK12B- 2533 and Motorcycle number JK02CD- 0408, moving in opposite directions, collided near Takia Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah in which one person was killed and two others sustained injuries.
The deceased was identified as Faizan Majid (16), son of Abdul Majid, resident of Sanai village and injured as Touseef Ahmed, son of Satar Din, resident of Sanai and Mehak Ali (18), son of Qayoom Khawaja, resident of Surankote in Poonch.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Poonch, Dr Zulfiqar said that one boy was brought dead while the condition of one injured was stable. Another injured was provided treatment at SDH, Surankote.
Meanwhile, a case FIR number 379/2022 under sections 279, 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation taken up.
