POONCH, Sept 10: A youth serving in Indian Army died today when he was on motorcycle and met with an accident in Banwat area of Poonch district.
Official sources said that the youth was driving motorcycle near his house. His bike imbalanced and he fell down suffering severely injuries. He was shifted to District Hospital, Poonch for treatment by family and locals but he was declared as ‘brought dead’.
He was identified him as Mohd Afzal, son of Mohd Aslam, a resident of Banwat, Ward number 6, Poonch.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Nusrat Bhatti said that after performing legal formalities, dead body was handed over to family for last rites.
