SAMBA, Dec 31: A youth died while two other persons travelling with him sustained injuries in a road accident near SIDCO Chowk in Samba district today.
As per available information, a Scorpio car hit a motorcycle near SIDCO Chowk Samba, resulting in injuries to three individuals.
They were taken to District Hospital Samba, where one of them, identified as Vicky Singh Sambyal son of Sukhdev Singh Sambyal of Chak Manga, Samba, was declared as dead on arrival by the team of doctors while the other injured persons were responding to the treatment by the press time.
The body of the deceased youth has been shifted to mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination while as a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Samba to investigate into the matter.
