JAMMU, Jan 3: A 23-year-old youth died in a road mishap in Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, Shubham son of Bodh Raj, resident of Gangyal, along with two others were travelling on a scooty when it got slipped on the road in Bagh-e-Bahu area, late last night. In the mishap, Shubham received serious head injury while his two accomplices sustained minor injuries.
They were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Shubham succumbed to his injuries at around midnight of Wednesday. After postmortem, the body of the deceased was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered at police station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigations started.
