POONCH, Mar 11: A 22-year-old shopkeeper was killed after hit by a shooting stone amid heavy rainfall in Gursai area of Mendhar in district Poonch today.
Sources said that the shopkeeper Umar Farooq (22) son of Noor Hussain of Sanjoite, Gursaie was hit by the shooting stone when he was busy to drain the water in front of his shop amid heavy rainfall at Gali Sanjoite. A shooting stone hit him and he was killed on the spot.
SDPO, Mendhar Neeraj Padyar said that he received information regarding the shopkeeper’s death.
“A police party has been sent to the area to ascertain the details,” SDPO said.
