POONCH, July 28: A youth was killed due to electric shocks in Surankote area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that 22-year-old, Zahid Ahmed, son of Mohd Azad, resident of village Madana in Surankote received severe electric shocks when he was trapped in a live electric wire fell down in the fields near the village today. He received severe shocks and was rushed to Surankote hospital, where doctors declare him as dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
