DODA, Aug 18: A young man drowned in Kalnai stream-a tributary of the Chenab River- in Thathri area of Doda District today.
Dhani Ram (20) son of Daulat Ram of Badanoo Village of Thathri was taking a bath when he reportedly lost his balance and slipped into the swollen stream.
Despite efforts, his life couldn’t be saved and later his body was recovered from the River.
Police have shifted the body of the youth to a local hospital for conducting the post-mortem and started further investigations.
