MENDHAR, Aug 9: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his home at village Ari, in Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district today.
The deceased has been identified as Tahir Mehmood (23), son of Mohd Shafiq, resident of Ari. The family members noticed Tahir in serious condition in the morning and rushed him to Mendhar hospital. The doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred him to GMC Hospital, Jammu but he died on the way. The police registered a case and then started investigation.
