UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: In an apparent case of suicide, a youth was found hanging from a tree in forest area near village Kaldi in Udhampur, here today.
According to the reports, Madan Lal (28), son of Rattan Lal, resident of Nalla Ghouran, Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances.
The hanging body was spotted by some locals, who immediately brought the matter into the notice of Ramnagar Police Station. On being informed, a Police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for post-mortem.
A case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Ramnagar and further investigation is going on.
