SAMBA, Mar 5: A 24-year-old youth ended his life by hanging himself in Samba. According to the information received, the youth used to work at a shop in Samba and lived in the room above the shop.
After closing the shop at night, he went to his room and in the morning he was seen hanging from a hook in the ceiling, reports said.
Samba police were informed about the matter. The police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and shifted it to the District Hospital, Samba. Police registered the case and started investigation. The deceased youth has been identified as Swarn Singh, son of Shamsher Singh, resident of village Bibrota, Rajgarh district Ramban. After a post-mortem at District Hospital Samba, the body was handed over to the family members for last rites.
