UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near his house at Battal in tehsil Majalta of district Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Dalbir Singh (25) son of Krishan Singh of Battal. He was found hanging under mysterious circumstances. Locals spotted the hanging body and immediately called the Police.
Majalta police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to PHC Majalta for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
