UDHAMPUR, May 25: A youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train near Satyani on Jammu-Udhampur Railway track, here today.
The incident took place at 2:55 pm and the deceased has been identified as Bishno Kumar Verma (22) son of Madan Kumar Verma of Ranchi Jharakhand.
The GRP shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for Postmortem.
Meanwhile, an elderly female pedestrian was injured when a Scooty hit her near Slathia Chowk Udhampur. The injured was identified as Suraju Devi (60) wife of Chandu of Sangur in Udhampur.
