KISHTWAR, Aug 17: One young man fell into the Marusudhar River in Nowapachi area of Marwah today and massive rescue operation launched to trace him could not get any success till late in the evening.
As per reports, Shakir Hussain, 23, son of Gulam Mohi Din Magrey along with his brother and friend had gone at the bank of Marusudhar River (a tributary of Chenab) and suddenly all the three lost balance and fell into the river.
Though two came out safely but Shakir was carried away with flow of the river.
Police has registered a case in this regard and the operation to trace the youth will start in morning.
