UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: A youth was found brutally murdered and thrown in Kunju Nallah, near Hansa in Ramnagar.
The deceased, identified as Mohinder Kumar (23), son of Kartar Chand, resident of Plaran Badhol, Tehsil Ramnagar, was missing since December 24 and his body was found last evening.
According to Police, body of the deceased wore multiple injuries by some sharp edged weapon and his head was apparently hit by stones.
The deceased had come to his house on December 24, around 1700 hrs.
He did not return since then while the family members tried their locate him.
On being informed by some locals, who spotted the body lying in Kunju Nallah near Hansa, SHO Ramnagar S D Singh along with Police team rushed to the spot. Police noticed that some unknown persons had committed the brutal murder and then covered the dead body with stones.
The dead body was later shifted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the post-mortem while a murder case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
