UDHAMPUR, Apr 27: A youth was found crushed to death by a train at Railway track, Mian Bagh, here this morning.
Identity of the deceased was established as Uttam Singh (24), son of Kartar Singh of Panjar, block Panchari. He was a mini bus driver by profession.
The GRP Udhampur recovered body of the deceased from Railway track this morning. It could not be ascertained whether he had committed suicide or incidentally met with the fatal accident.
Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem after completion of legal formalities and later handed it over to the family members. A case under Section 174 of CrPC has been registered in this regard for further investigation.
