RAMBAN, Dec 1: A 25 years old youth was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a rented accommodation in Gund Adalkote locality of Banihal today morning.
Police said that a youth identified as Rayees Ahmed Zohda, 25, son of Mohammad Iqbal Zhoda resident of village Chanjloo, Banihal was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Banihal.
After receiving information a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary of SDH, Banihal for conducting a post-mortem and other legal formality.
SHO Police Station Banihal, Inspector Mohd. Afzal Wani said the dead body of the deceased was handed over to his family members for last rites.
Inquest proceedings under 174 CrPc have been initiated at Police Station Banihal for ascertaining the cause of death.
