UDHAMPUR, May 26: The semi-decomposed body of a youth was recovered from Chenani area this morning while a minor girl fell down from a small hill near a brick kiln at Jib and died.
A police spokesman said that dead body of 28-year-old, Mukesh Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, resident of Madha village was recovered from a nallah near Madha bridge. He was missing since May 7 and the family had also lodged missing report.
The police shifted the body to Chenani hospital for postmortem and then handed over to the family for last rites. A case was registered for investigation.
Another report said that 10-year-old Kehkashan, daughter of Samaroo, working at brick Kiln near Jib fell down from a small hill and suffered serious injuries. She was rushed to hospital where doctors declared her as dead. The girl was playing with other children when the mishap took place. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
