POONCH, Jan 3: A 27- year- old youth hailing from Mendhar area was found dead in his vehicle under mysterious circumstances in Ari area of Mendhar on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Imran Ahmed Gorsi, son of Mohd Razaq, resident of Ari village in Mendhar.
Police said youth’s dead body was found inside his vehicle bearing registration number JKO2AL/ 3838 near service station, ITI Mendhar. The body was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar by police.
The cause of the death couldn’t find out immediately. The body was sent for postmortem and later handed over to the family.
“His vehicle was locked and the police party had to break the window glasses to take out the dead body”, a police officer said.
He said that inquest proceedings have been launched.
