UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: The dead body of a young boy was found today at Mand under mysterious circumstances.
“The deceased was identified as Kanav Seth (21) son of Rattan Lal resident of East Mand,” a police official said, adding the body was spotted lying along the National Highway by some locals who informed the Tikri police.
He said the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur, where after getting conducted postmortem it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
Police has initiated inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC, the official added.
