JAMMU, Oct 12: A 22-year-old youth was found hanging this evening at his residence in Phallian Mandal area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Nikhil Sharma (22) son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Gosain Chak (Phallian Mandal),” a police official said, adding, the deceased was B Tech.
The official informed that the body of the youth was found hanging from a wooden log in the roof of ‘kucha’ bathroom of his house. The deceased was reportedly in depression, he added.
“The body has been shifted to GMC Jammu for postmortem while concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter,” the official added.
