UDHAMPUR, May 21: In an apparent case of suicide, a youth was found hanging from a tree near his house at Patangarh in Chenani.
The deceased was identified as Prabhu Ram (20), son of Sandura, residence of Patangarh Chenani. Some locals saw him hanging from the tree and immediately called the Police.
On being informed, a Police party from PS Chenani rushed to the spot shifted the dead body to CHC Hospital Chenani for the postmortem. After completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members for the last rites.
Cause of apparent suicide could not be ascertained while Chenani Police has registered the case for further investigation.
