JAMMU, July 23: A youth today found unconscious in Gandhi Nagar area and later died in the hospital.
“Rahul Singh (24) son of Vinod, resident of Reshamghar, was found in unconscious condition at Last Morh, Gandhi Nagar at about 12:45 AM by some passersby” a police official said.
He said they shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he expired at about 1.30 AM. There was no external injury on the body of the deceased youth, he added.
“After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, the official said, adding, Gandhi Nagar police had initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
