UDHAMPUR, June 11: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in forest area near Manthal, under the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri, here today.
The deceased was identified as Ganesh Kumar (23), son of Rattan Lal of Pachound Dudu. He was found hanging from a tree in forest area near Manthal under mysterious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals, who informed the Police. A case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, one Dalip Singh (27), son of Shankar Singh of Sulghar, Ramnagar, was found dead in Tawi river near Ritti village. Police has registered a case in this connection while the body has been sent to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
