JAMMU, Dec 2: A 21 years old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging self with an iron angel at his residence falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bakshi Nagar.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth identified as Vishal Kumar son of Madan Lal of Rajpura Mangotrian hanged himself on third floor of his house with an iron angel, late last night. He was spotted by some neighbor, who informed his family members. In unconscious condition, the family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After conducting post mortem, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
The concerned police has also taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
