Youth have important role to play in 21st century: Nirmal Singh

JAMMU, Jan 30: Stating that 65 per cent of our population comprises of youth, Leader of BJP Legislative Party & Ex-Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh today said that they have a very important role in achieving the mission of Narendra Modi to make India leader of the world in 21st century.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while addressing a gathering of people from Basohli at party office, said that youth is the future of every nation and “we have very high hopes from them’’. He said that the Central government is concerned for the youth and “Mudra Bank Yojana” has been launched to benefit them to earn livelihood. Similarly, “Ladli Beti” scheme was launched by PDP-BJP coalition to benefit the girl child, who was considered as a burden by their family. “Food Security Act” was enacted under right to food for all, besides setting up of prestigious institutes like AIIMS, IIM, IIT, IHM, establishing of five new battalions of IRP for J&K, grant of Deemed University status to Central Institute of Buddhist Studies etc. by the Centre reveals the concern of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Jammu & Kashmir. He also spoke on the decision of the previous government to hold elections to Urban Local Bodies and Panchayats and empower them in all matters. He said that he will also contribute to ensure that Basohli is developed and its past pristine glory is restored.
BJP general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul was also present on the occasion.
District president & MLA Jeevan Lal said that more and more people are getting associated with BJP ideology, which is requirement of the nation and its people. He said that be it booth level activists or State president, all have important role in nourishing the party.
