JAMMU, July 23: Inspired by the pro-development and pro-poor policies of Narendra Modi Government, Akash Singh Slathia prominent social worker with his supporters joined BJP under the leadership of Ravinder Raina, State president BJP Jammu Kashmir and Yuva Morcha president, Arun Prabhat in the special presence of Surjeet Singh Slathia former Minister and State vice president BJP and Dr. Devinder Manyal former Minister and State general secretary at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
Ravinder Raina, on this occasion, said that a wave of change is visible in entire length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir as more and more people are saying good bye to their parties and joining BJP in large numbers. This has become possible as they have realised that the Modi Government has done splendid work in the last nine years and there has been massive development in all fields. The people of all sections have been taken care through various schemes of the Modi Government, he added.
He said that instead of mere sloganeering, Narendra Modi Government has done real work on ground, which has been highly appreciated by everyone, irrespective of region, faith or caste.
Surjeet Singh Slathia said that the Narendra Modi Government has fulfilled the aspiration of youths and also did tremendous work in healthcare, education, road connectivity fields and social security schemes, which has initiated an era of peace, progress and prosperity with people leading dignified lives.
Speaking on the occasion, Arun Prabhat Singh welcomed all the youths into the party and also assured that BJP is the only party who did justice with the youth of Jammu Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Akash Singh Salathia complimented the BJP leadership and also assured the party that he will work hard to take the motto and ideology of the party at grass root level.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Abhishek Singh Slathia State general secretary BJYM and Akhil Prasher was also present.
