JAMMU, Dec 13: A 26-years old youth injured in assault case breathed his last in Government Medical College and Hospital (Jammu).
Vijay Kumar son of Chuni Lal age, a resident of Megani in Udhampur was referred to GMCH Jammu from District Hospital Udhampur on December 10 after he was brutally attacked in his village by two youths and admitted in District Hospital Udhampur in very critical condition.
Vijay Kumar succumbed to his injuries yesterday at GMCH Jammu. His dead body was brought to District Hospital Udhampur and was handed over to the next kith and kin of the deceased after postmortem this morning.
It is reported that prime accused was arrested by the concerned police.
