JAMMU, Dec 9: An 18-year-old youth was seriously injured when he fell from a moving mini-bus in Talab Tillo area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the mishap occurred today when the victim identified as Aman, son of Babu Ram, resident of Gole Panj Pir (Talab Tillo), was travelling while hanging on the door of the mini-bus bearing registration number JK02BN-0677.
He said as the Aman was hanging with the door of the mini-bus, when another mini-bus bearing registration number JK02AX-9541 tried to overtake the former, he got trapped between two vehicles and fell down, resulting into serious injuries to him.
“The injured youth was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in”, the spokesman said, adding, a case has been registered and both the vehicles involved in the mishap have been seized while further investigations are underway.
