JAMMU, Jan 18: A 22-year-old was injured today due to electrocution in Sainik Colony area of city outskirts.
The injured has been identified as Gulshan Kumar son of Mohan Lal, resident of Ratnuchak (Gangyal). He received severe electric shock while working at an electric pole. As per sources, the victim was employee of a private company engaged in installing smart electric meters in Jammu.
Sources said that the injured youth was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while Police Post Sainik Colony had taken cognizance of the matter.
