Srinagar, Nov 20: Police today said a youth was injured in a mysterious explosion in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district last evening.
A police spokesman said 25 year-old youth namely Shabir Ahmad Dar found some explosive device while extracting sand from river Jehlum. He said the device exploded in his right hand, resulting in injuries to him. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
