KATHUA, Feb 12: A youth was killed while two others were injured seriously after a load career in which they were traveling was hit by an unknown vehicle at Banerth two kms away from Hiranagar near here today.
The deceased was identified as Roshan, son of Sansar Chand of Rajpora Ghagwal. He was seriously injured after the vehicle hit the load career and all the three were rushed to SDH Hiranagar for treatment where Roshan succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of load career bearing number JK21 4534 who was identified as Surinder Kumar, son of Hemraj of Vijaypur and another inmate of the vehicle whose identity could not be ascertained are under going treatment at SDH Hiranagar.
Roshan’s body was handed over to his family after postmortem at SDH Hiranagar. The police has registered a case against the unknown vehicle.
