Srinagar, Oct 24: Police today said that a civilian was killed after a brief shootout between militants and CRPF in Babapora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Police said that the CRPF party of 178 Bn was out for area domination in Babapora when militants fired upon them, CRPF also retaliated and during cross firing one civilian was killed.
He has been identified as Shahid Ahmad son of Ajaz, resident of Anantnag.
