BHADERWAH, Aug 7: A youth was killed while pillion rider was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge at Nai Basti Dradhu area, here today.
As per police sources, a youth was killed while pillion rider was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge at Nai Basti Dradhu area, here today.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah from where he was later shifted to District Hospital Doda for advanced treatment.
The body of the deceased identified as Nikhil Kotwal (21), son of Sandeep Kotwal of Dradhu was shifted to mortuary of SDH Bhaderwah for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
The injured has been identified as Gorav Gupta (19), son of Koshal Gupta of Dradhu.
A case under FIR Number 88/2020 under Sections 279, 337 and 304-A IPC was registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
