JAMMU, Dec 8: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Mishriwala area of City outskirts, a police spokesman said.
He said the youth has been identified as Shubhum Sharma (25) son of Joginder Sharma, a resident of Mishriwala. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable, he added.
However, it was not known why he took this extreme step.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
