RAJOURI, Feb 21: A 20-year-old youth allegedly made suicide bid by consuming some poisonous substance in Jawahar Nagar area here today.
A police spokesman said that young Piyush Sharma, son of Sunil Rattan, resident of Jawahar Nagar locality of Rajouri was removed to district hospital by family members after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at home today. The doctors washed his stomach and little improvement was witnessed in his condition. The family members however, claimed that boy had taken some pills by mistake and his condition worsened thereafter. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
