RAJOURI, Aug 18: A youth made attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at village Sankari in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that one Abrar Ahmed (21), son of Mohd Din, resident of village Sankari, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence this afternoon. He was rushed to District Hospital, Rajouri by the parents as his condition worsened. The doctors at Rajouri hospital, provided preliminary treatment and later referred him to GMC Hospital, Jammu. His condition was said to be serious. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
