KATRA, June 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC), president Uday Chib today said that the youth are the backbone of the Party and impressed upon them to work like a bridge between the people and the party.
He stated this during a joining programme in which a large number of youth joined the Youth Congress under his leadership at Katra in district Reasi today.
The JKPYC president welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and made them aware about their responsibilities as staunch and devoted members of the National Party. He said that youth are the backbone of the party and play the most significant role in its functioning. He asked them to perform like a bridge connecting the party to the masses at all levels especially at the grass root level.
Addressing the new entrants as well as the other youth workers and activists, Chib stated that the state of affairs across the nation in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular has gone from bad to worse during the BJP Govt at the Centre. He said it is time for the party cadre to make the people realize that today there is a dire need to punish the BJP for its misdeeds in governance.
He made a fervent appeal to the people to vote for Congress in the elections to the J&K Assembly and get rid of the BJP Govt at the Centre during the next parliamentary elections to get rid of the miseries thrust upon them by the BJP Govt at the Centre during its two tenures.
