JAMMU, Mar 8: Amit Sharma, Administrator Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals Jammu today felicitated achievers of various fields for their extra-ordinary works and for bringing laurels to the Union Territory of J&K.
Amongst achievers who got felicitated by Amit were Onkar Singh Batra, National Child Awardee 2020; Shivani Charak, International Medalist, an ace sports climber of J&K and Tarun Sharma Judge, Karate Association of India.
Amit Sharma who was chief guest on the occasion was very categorical in mentioning that it was a feeling of great pride to see Jammuites creating mark at national and international levels.
He also congratulated the mothers, sisters and women folk on this occasion which coincided with the International Women’s Day.
Speaking further on the occasion Amit Sharma said that the youth of Jammu possess enormous talent which requires to be harnessed and nourished.
He also felicitated young bloggers, young entrepreneurs, young winners of online contests including toddlers which was organised by French Club being led single-handedly by Arun Sharma.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman, Team Jammu who was Guest of Honour said these personalities are making Jammu proud through their achievements and he is happy to see the way French Club encouraging them by felicitating these young personalities during the function.
Ram Khajuria, President, Tawi Trekkers Club was Special Guest on the occasion, Brij Mohan, Famous Music Composer was also Special Guest.
Prominent persons present on the occasion were Payal Arora (Famous Theatre Artist), Bhavna Mahajan (MD, Sajawat & Chocolatt), Sardarni Neete Kour (International Player) and Rakesh Verma.
The programme was held under overall guidance and supervision of Arun Sharma, President and Founder of French Club.
