DODA, Apr 3: Former Member of Parliament/Minister and Congress candidate from Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha Constituency, Ch Lal Singh today said that youth of the Jammu and Kashmir will get priority in all recruitments if he comes to power.
Addressing a massive rally at Doda town today, Ch Lal Singh said that the youth of the region will get special priority in recruitments specially in Army and Para Military Forces if he comes to power. He said youth of J&K is frustrated due to rising unemployment graph. There is urgent need to create employment opportunities for our youth.
Launching scathing attack on BJP and LG Administration, Congress leader said Saffron leaders talk of Amethi in Kathua and Udampur and forget that the proxy Government of BJP in J&K has given toll plazas to the people of J&K and they have doubled the rate at their own sweet will. The local people raised the issue but nobody listens to the public cries under BJP regime. Public feels themselves helpless under Modi rule. The voice of the people and middle rung leaders in the opposition is muzzled. The agencies alike ED and CBI are misused to target opposition leaders.
Ch Lal Singh cautioned the people to remain aware about the nefarious designs of the politics of the BJP which ruled the nation for 10 years and indulged only in vote bank politics, exploitation of masses on communal basis. He lambasted the BJP for dividing people on the name of religion and caste for its vote bank politics.
He claimed that BJP leaders are not actually aware of the problems faced by the people of Doda and they are talking about the developed India in Doda. The proxy Government of BJP has cancelled the mutations of the lands of the poor people. He regretted that drug-peddlers are working in the state without any hesitation and spoiling the career of our youth. There is need to keep a check on this menace,
Ch. Lal Singh reiterated that if voted to power, the present administrative apparatus which is in deep slumber for the last ten years will not merely wake up but would reach to the people’s doorstep to address their grievances. Earlier, Ch Lal Singh took out road show from Batote to Doda and held brief public meetings en-route.
