JAMMU, Nov 5: A youth was stabbed today by two miscreants in Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu.
“Divam Jolly (27) son of Pardeep Kumar, resident of Bakshi Nagar near Geeta Temple was stabbed with knife by two unidentified persons over an altercation following collision of their vehicles,” a police official said, adding, the incident occurred near Geeta Temple.
He said Divam was stabbed in the back while his father Rakesh Kumar (60) and elder brother Tarsem Jolly (33) also got minor injuries in the assault. Divam was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment and his condition was stated to be stable, he added.
The official said that a case has been registered in this connection and further investigation started.
