JAMMU, Aug 6: A 25 year old youth was murdered during a broad day light today by two brothers in village Chak Bagla falling under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station in district Samba.
He has been identified as Rahul Verma, son of Narinder Verma of Chak Bagla. The old rivalry has been stated as the cause of murder.
Ramgarh Police has registered a case in this regard and arrested three accused persons. Police said the accused including two brothers Balvir Singh and Kuldeep Singh, sons of Devi Singh of the same village. They had an old enmity with Rahul and called him to their residence today where they stabbed him with a sharp edged weapon (Kirch).
Rahul sustained serious injuries and fell in a pool of blood. He was shifted by villagers to Ramgarh Hospital where from doctor referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for specialized treatment. But on reaching Hospital he succumbed to his injuries.
The Ramgarh Police has arrested both the brothers and their father and registered a case against them. The police has put them to sustained interrogation.
